​SEA GAMES: Carlos Yulo Finishes with 5 golds and 2 silvers

Carlos Edriel Yulo ended up his stint by winning 5 golds and 2 silvers in the men’s artistic gymnastics at the recently concluded 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Dominating the men’s artistic individual event by winning the men’s vault with 14.800 points, garnering 13.867 points in the high bar, tying Vietnamese gymnast Ding Phuong Thanh, and also defending his gold medal in floor exercise with a score of 15.200 points. He also ruled in the still rings and horizontal bar, with a silver finish in the team event and in the men’s parallel bars.
 

“If it’s up to me I wanted to win all the medals in all the event,” said Yulo in Filipino. Surpassing his stellar performance in the 2019 SEA Games, the 22-year old Yulo proved to be a gold mine for the Philippine team.

The Philippines is in 4th place in the medal tally with a total of 226 medals, including 52 golds, 70 silvers, and 104 bronze.

​Celtics throw the Heat early to tie in the series, winning 102-82

The Boston Celtics claimed the championship in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. On Monday, May 23, 2022, they win to tie the series with the Miami Heat.

In the first quarter, the Celtics were leading 26-9. According to ESPN, the longest span without a field goal in an NBA playoff game in over three decades was recorded when the Miami Heat did not score until 3 minutes 22 seconds remained. Jayson Tatum, the Celtics' All-Star, scored 31 points in a pounding of Miami early.

 

In the second quarter, the Celtics led by 27 points, and in the third, they led by 32 points. Getting a 20 point edge in every quarter Payton Pritchard led the Celtics with 14 points, Robert Williams had 12 points and nine rebounds, and Derrick White had 13 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Historically Shameful Game of the Heat

The Boston Celtics claimed the championship in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. On Monday, May 23, 2022, they win to tie the series with the Miami Heat.

The Game was started with Miami Heat missing its first 14 shots, falling behind 17 points. With 3 minutes and 22 seconds remaining in the first quarter. Oladipo’s made triple stopped the drought, but Boston already built up an advantage, and it was like a game over at that point.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "They came out and jumped us." "We're not making any excuses. They outplayed us tonight for sure. We never could get any kind of grip on the game."

Victor Oladipo scored 13 of Miami's first 18 points, and 18 of their first 28 points all off the bench on 5-for-7 shooting (3-4 3P, 5-6 FT) through the game's first 21+ minutes, narrowing the gap. Through two quarters, Oladipo's teammates had only 15 points on 18/25/33 shooting splits.
